Collin’s Elves was established in 2018 by Collin Arthrell, inspired by the enlistment of his older brother into the U.S. Navy. Feeling a sense of disconnect, he began sending candy and toiletries to various organizations. In December 2018, he sent 75 stockings to his brother for distribution among his fellow service members.

Since that time, Collin has dispatched over 15,000 stockings to more than six aircraft carriers and continues to support veterans in the Pittsburgh area by collecting essential items and collaborating with other organizations.

Looking ahead to 2025, Collin has chosen to “adopt” military veterans in the Pittsburgh area who have minor children, fulfilling their wish lists while also providing meals and decorations. He believes they deserve a wonderful holiday experience without the added stress.
